Cookie Dough Expires December 19th !!! Shop Visit Planned...

Any cookie dough that was earned in this years cookie sale expires in just a couple of weeks. If you haven't spent all your money on your cookie credit card you will need to spend it by the 19th of December, or it will disappear into council's funds!

I am taking Ally to the Girl Scout shop in Austin on the 19th (it's our only free Saturday between now and then.). If anyone would like to join us that would be great. I would hate to see the girls lose their money, so please either take them to the shop (or carry the money over if they have over $100). Or if they plan to attend any upcoming events (like our campout in Feb) and want to use the money for those events, contact either myself or Sally immediately so we can get the paperwork done in time!

Here are some links you may find useful:

Christmas Stroll more info....Support Soles 4 Souls

Sorry I left this bit out and it is important. Girl Scout Troop 725 is supporting Soles4Souls (www.soles4souls.com). If you have any new or gently used shoes that you no longer need, please bring them to the stroll. Troop 725 will have a booth set up outside Runtex accepting footwear donations!

Christmas Stroll This Saturday at 11.30am....

Hi Everyone,

With all of the busy-ness of the Book Swap, I probably haven't passed on enough info about the Christmas Stroll. Even now I don't have all the details (as of last night the powers that be hadn't finished organising the details!). What I can tell you is that it is this Saturday at about 11.30am. At this stage I do not know where we are lining up. As soon as I do I will let everyone know. UNIFORMS are essential if you are going to participate! Let me know if you are missing any patches as I will be running into Austin to the Girl Scout shop tomorrow to pick some things up. Please let me know who plans to attend!

Barrels & Storage & Sponsorship!

We really need a source for either barrels or tall boxes, now that we are starting to get permission to put them out at the schools, so everyone please start trying to find a solution!

We also need a place to store the books! If anyone has an idea or a contact please start making phone calls!

Also if anyone knows a business that would be interested in sponsoring the book swap for $50 or $100 to cover the cost of printing and rental of the room etc. You can tell the businesses that their business name will be on the flyer and posters!
